With Mozart?

Ahhh Salzburg, a wonderful mix of The Sound of Music and Mozart, with a fortress on a hill as the cherry on top.

We arrived in Salzburg at platform 4 in the main train station and happily greeted by our friend Fiona who joined us for the next 5 days. Luckily our accommodation was a short walk away, as we were all pretty beat from travelling from another city. I will say, I love a good shower and our hotel had monsoon shower heads, amazing! After a quick bag drop, first and foremost, a walk to the main part of town for a drink and some food. We walked through the gardens of Mirabell Palace, the sight of the infamous ‘Do rae me’ scene from The Sound of Music. We walked across the Salzburg lock bridge and into the old town.
