…Yeah, my oh my! River deep, mountain high!

Yep, I love you. I’m talking to you, Austria.

Our first Austrian city was Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrolean region of west Austria. Mountains, glacial-blue river, pretty buildings and good food sum it up. In Innsbruck, we were surrounded by mountains, quite literally wrapped in a full circle of mountains as far as the eye could see. I never get bored of seeing them, turning a street corner and seeing a snow-capped mountain, sitting in the town square having a drink and looking up and seeing a snow-capped mountain. These moments always accompanied by a ‘Whoa!’. No other words needed, the mountains speak for themselves.


Our accommodation for our stay was a quick 100 m walk from the train station and only a few hundred meter walk from the main town square. Innsbruck is quite a small city, at least it felt…
