We leave Cinque Terre tomorrow and just as I typed that the clock tower chimed 5:00pm on our final day here.
We have been here for 4 nights, tonight being our 5th and final night. I can’t even begin to describe how relaxed we have felt in Riomaggiore- Cinque Terre.
We’re not the kind of travelers that can switch off for an entire day and relax at our accommodation. An overbearing sense of guilt comes over us if we have not been to a sight or gone for a big walk that day. Being here has taught us that it is OK to sleep to 10am, drink wine at 11am, and go our for “lunch” at 4pm when you are holidays. That has been our greatest lesson of Cinque Terre.
Our internet speed here is great, so I have caught up on Season 12 of Grey’s Anatomy and Season 7…
